Quit For Good (package: com.quitforgood.app) is a smoking
cessation tracker developed and published by Merwan Hellal.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the Quit For Good
mobile application, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.

2Data We Collect
Quit For Good does not require you to create an account or provide any
personal identification. We collect only what is strictly necessary to make the app work.

💡 Your mood notes are private. They are stored on your device first and
optionally synced to our secure cloud so you do not lose them if you change phones.
They are never read by us or shared with anyone.
3How We Use Your Data
We use the data we collect solely to operate the app. Specifically:

Anonymous user ID — to associate your quit profile and mood entries
across sessions so data is not lost when you restart the app.

Health & smoking data — to calculate your smoke-free timer,
money saved, cigarettes avoided, and health milestones inside the app.

Mood entries & notes — to display your mood history and patterns
inside the app. We do not analyse them ourselves.

Purchase history — to verify that you have unlocked lifetime access
and to restore your purchase if you reinstall the app.

Push notification token — to send you local achievement and milestone
notifications. Notifications are processed on your device; no notification content is sent
to our servers.

operating the app.
4Third-Party Services
Quit For Good uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy
which governs how they handle any data they receive.

Used as our backend database. We store your anonymous user ID, quit profile,
and mood entries on Supabase-hosted servers. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS)
and at rest. Supabase servers are located in the EU or US depending on the region
selected at setup.

RevenueCat
Used to manage the Lifetime Access in-app purchase. RevenueCat receives your
anonymous app user ID and your Google Play purchase receipt to verify and restore
your purchase. RevenueCat does not receive your payment card details — those are
handled entirely by Google Play.

Expo / Firebase Cloud Messaging (Android)
Used to deliver achievement and milestone push notifications to your device.
A push token is generated on your device and used only to route notifications
to you. No notification content is stored on external servers.

RevenueCat may retain purchase records for fraud prevention and financial

We take the following measures to protect your data:

Database tables are protected with Row Level Security (RLS) — users can only access their own data.

No passwords are stored — authentication is done via anonymous session tokens.

The app functions fully offline — no data is sent over the network if you do not have an internet connection.
7Children's Privacy
Quit For Good is a smoking cessation application intended for adults aged 18 and
over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used this application, please
contact us at hellalmerwan@gmail.com and we
will promptly delete any associated data.
8Your Rights
Depending on your country of residence, you may have the following rights regarding your
personal data (GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable laws):

Right to withdraw consent — Disable cloud sync at any time using the reset option in the app (Settings → Reset). Local data is cleared immediately.
9Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the
Effective date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant,
we will notify you through a notification in the app.
Continued use of Quit For Good after any changes means you accept the updated policy.
